Submariner — Sea Life

The Horizonhook Pilotfin has a curved tail that twitches toward distant motion before sound can travel that far. It swims just ahead of submarines, pretending not to lead them anywhere. The pretense fails whenever its tail hooks sharply and a new contact blooms on the scope.
