v1.0.857
9/16/2026 at 1:30 AM
Character Portrait: upload your own image for free, or generate one with an optional reference photo (400 BSP / 800 SP). Creature Lab fish appearances can now add a cosmetic accessory/outfit too.
v1.0.856
9/16/2026 at 1:07 AM
Restored and re-priced the 52 material auctions from the last update -- they were real listings with a pricing bug, not duplicates. Also fixed the Materials filter mixing in hunted creatures.
Auction House →
v1.0.855
9/16/2026 at 12:58 AM
Fixed the Auction House selling rare materials for pennies -- 52 buggy near-free listings cleaned up. Materials can now be bought in multiples, filtered separately from fish, and voluntarily sold back from the Workshop page.

v1.0.854
9/16/2026 at 12:37 AM
Creature Lab: fusions now require at least one real fish (objects alone can no longer be fused), and object inputs are now visually marked in the picker.
v1.0.853
9/16/2026 at 12:30 AM
Fixed a rare Creature Lab bug where a fusion could occasionally produce a salvaged object instead of a real fish (matching class) in your tank.
v1.0.852
9/15/2026 at 11:30 PM
Submariner Tips now preserve line breaks and auto-link any aikillsband.com URL you paste in. Tips nav link also moved under How To Play.
v1.0.850
9/15/2026 at 11:18 PM
New: Submariner Tips & Tricks page -- share advice with fellow crew (must have boarded a voyage in the last 30 days), plus public Crew Profile pages showing portrait, Character Level, voyages, and creations.
v1.0.849
9/15/2026 at 10:59 PM
Minor admin-side fix and improvement to Solo Quest voyage stats tracking.
v1.0.848
9/15/2026 at 10:49 PM
Solo Quest XP now auto-balances: quests that take longer to finish pay more, faster ones pay less, tuned against real completion times. Also corrected an across-the-board quest XP overpay from Voyage 1.
v1.0.847
9/15/2026 at 10:27 PM
Submariner Solo Quests page now shows an XP stats summary above your quest history — how much XP you earned per class last voyage, across all voyages, and your average XP per quest.
v1.0.844
9/15/2026 at 7:07 PM
Behind-the-scenes cleanup on the new VIP BSP program: it's now built into the real VIP admin tools instead of living apart from them, and every place it shows a Bonus Sawpoints amount is clearly colored so it's never confused with regular Sawpoints.

v1.0.841
9/15/2026 at 6:15 PM
Add your own creature to the ocean. The Submit a Creature page has been rebuilt: describe your creature and let us create the artwork and drop it into the sea instantly, or make the art yourself and submit it free (we now hand you the exact prompt, a downloadable ChatGPT skill, and a guide to getting it right). Either way you become that creature's permanent credited creator, with its birth date stamped forever -- and if you ever catch your own creature out at sea, it goes straight into your collection instead of up for auction. How many you can create each day depends on your Laboratory and your Science rank.
v1.0.840
9/15/2026 at 5:43 PM
Behind-the-scenes tidying on the new creature artwork generator: when something goes wrong it now tells us precisely what, instead of a vague 'unavailable', so any hiccup gets fixed faster. The artwork pipeline was also given a full live test run end to end.
v1.0.839
9/15/2026 at 5:27 PM
Fuse salvage into your fish. The Creature Lab can now take the junk you've dragged up off the seabed -- a cracked depth gauge, a salted brass whistle -- and graft it into a living creature, producing a mutated one-of-a-kind species with artwork generated just for it. Fusing is free; only the custom artwork costs anything. Two fixes came with it: fusions could previously hand you a lump of salvage INSTEAD of a fish (they can't any more), and every image entering the game now has to meet the art spec before it's accepted, so player-submitted creatures stop arriving with solid white boxes around them. You can also now have the site generate artwork for a creature you've submitted, if you'd rather not draw it yourself.
v1.0.835
9/14/2026 at 11:35 PM
Cleared out eight old promo videos that were still sitting on the web server despite having been moved to our CDN or retired entirely -- about 39MB of dead files, tidying up the site.
v1.0.834
9/14/2026 at 11:27 PM
Housekeeping on the notes behind the last server tuning change, after spotting that some old promo videos had been listed as a factor when they had actually been moved off to the CDN a long time ago.
v1.0.833
9/14/2026 at 11:22 PM
A follow-up tuning pass on the server after the big speed fix -- giving the site a bit more room to serve videos, images and audio at the same time without them queueing up behind each other.
v1.0.832
9/14/2026 at 11:12 PM
Tracked down the real cause of the 504 timeouts that have been hitting the site during streams. The live Submariner data feed -- the one powering the stream overlays and the live section of the Submariner page -- was rebuilding itself from scratch for every single viewer, several times a minute, even though everyone receives exactly the same information. It now builds once and is shared, so the site's workload no longer grows with the size of the audience: 200 viewers cost the same as 5. Also stopped the Kong Climb overlay from quietly polling around the clock when no game is running, and made the Twitch bot back off gracefully when the site is struggling instead of retrying hard enough to keep it down.
Submariner →
v1.0.831
9/14/2026 at 11:12 PM
Cut a pile of repeated database lookups the Twitch bot was triggering on every single chat award, which had been adding load during busy streams.
v1.0.830
9/14/2026 at 11:12 PM
Further work on the 504 timeouts during live streams.
v1.0.829
9/14/2026 at 11:12 PM
The Military/Science/Navigation mission targets on a voyage's Edit Settings form are now highlighted in yellow, so they're much harder to miss in a long form.
Submariner →
v1.0.828
9/14/2026 at 11:12 PM
First fix for the intermittent 504 timeouts on the site during streams.
v1.0.827
9/14/2026 at 11:12 PM
Solo Quest progress now only counts when a hunt actually resolves -- a won or lost fight -- rather than in cases where the fight never really happened.
Submariner →
v1.0.826
9/14/2026 at 11:12 PM
Fixed quest turn-in being blocked while a voyage was still boarding. Turning in now stays open right up until the voyage actually docks.
Submariner →
v1.0.825
9/14/2026 at 11:12 PM
A lot more Solo Quest variety -- three new quest lines for every class (Wheel Spin, Change of Orders, Depth Survey), so low-rank crew stop seeing the same handful of offers over and over.
Submariner →
v1.0.824
9/14/2026 at 11:12 PM
Fixed Solo Quests refusing to start for crew who were already aboard a voyage that hadn't departed yet -- you can now pick up quests from the moment you board, and the error message no longer tells you to do something you'd already done.
Submariner →
v1.0.823
9/14/2026 at 11:12 PM
Sped up the admin side of the site by cutting database work that every page load was paying for and almost none of them used.
v1.0.822
9/14/2026 at 3:30 AM
Follow-up fix to v1.0.821 -- the Submariner stream overlay's Recent Catch panel could still show an old catch even after Deep Sea Fishing was properly ended. It's now correctly tied to whether a session is actually active.
v1.0.821
9/14/2026 at 2:26 AM
Fixed the Submariner stream overlay showing stale Deep Sea Fishing data -- an abandoned session could get stuck 'active' forever with nothing to close it out. It now auto-expires after a set number of hours so this can't happen again.
v1.0.820
9/14/2026 at 2:05 AM
Rebalanced building construction times -- no building's next level can ever take longer than 3 years now (previously uncapped and could reach centuries), and your Character Level now speeds up every build by up to 30%.
v1.0.819
9/14/2026 at 1:49 AM
Fixed: Aquarium tank tiers (Small/Medium/Large/Small Pond/Large Pond) can now only ever be owned once each, closing a loophole where reaching a tank's required rank in multiple classes let you buy several of the same tank.
v1.0.818
9/14/2026 at 1:33 AM
New: !sub mining can now also turn up Pumpkin Seeds during October -- spend them alongside BSP/SP at the Store on Halloween-only cosmetics: a Backyard Pumpkin Patch and Ghostly Decorations for the Buildings scene, plus a Spooky Aquarium Frame and Jack-O-Lantern Light for your tank. Buyable in October only, but once you own one it shows off every October and November.
v1.0.817
9/14/2026 at 12:30 AM
Halloween-exclusive fish now actually slot into any class's power slot during October/November (you still need your own rank in that class) -- and they show off a distinctive orange border and pumpkin badge in your Aquarium.
v1.0.816
9/14/2026 at 12:03 AM
New every-October event: the Halloween Pumpkin Patch! !sub fish now has a chance to also turn up a sea pumpkin -- fish, rate, listen, and get your own songs played to earn Unlocks, then thrash your pumpkins open on the Pumpkin Patch page for prizes ranging from Sawpoints to rare Halloween-exclusive fish. Any pumpkins left unopened past the season disappear, so don't let them pile up!
v1.0.814
9/13/2026 at 10:27 PM
Fixed on the Buildings page: the Promo Blimp now properly blocks a building's name label from view when it flies in front of it, instead of the text always showing through on top.
v1.0.813
9/13/2026 at 6:33 PM
Fixed Pumpkin Thrash: the difficulty buttons stopped working after your first game -- you can now play as many rounds in a row as you want.
v1.0.812
9/13/2026 at 6:17 PM
Pumpkin Thrash moved into the Playtester area -- playtesters can now play it and give feedback, spending PSP (the practice currency) instead of real SawPoints.
v1.0.811
9/13/2026 at 4:22 PM
Submariner: new !sub depth command for Navigators -- check the sub's real depth gauge and get a shot at discovering a secret, guarded node loaded with better-than-normal loot.
v1.0.810
9/13/2026 at 3:14 PM
Submariner: each region now has secret Depth Zone logs on the Depth Map that only unlock while the sub is actually at that depth during a live voyage -- otherwise they stay locked and blurred.
v1.0.809
9/13/2026 at 2:44 PM
Submariner: queued future shows can now be edited in place, and the Next Voyage Promo steps aside to show the current live voyage while one is happening -- it comes back automatically once that voyage ends.
v1.0.808
9/13/2026 at 2:09 PM
Submariner: the Next Voyage Promo can now hold an unlimited queue of future shows -- once the currently-showing voyage's boarding time passes, the next one in line automatically takes its place.
v1.0.807
9/13/2026 at 5:23 AM
Ocean Regions admin: saving a depth chart no longer closes the region editor or reloads the page -- it now saves in place with a quick Saved confirmation.
v1.0.806
9/13/2026 at 5:08 AM
Ocean Regions admin: each region now also has an overall depth chart image and summary covering all 5 depths at a glance, alongside the per-depth breakdowns.
v1.0.805
9/13/2026 at 4:43 AM
Ocean Regions admin: each region can now have its own chart image and detailed writeup for every depth level, and the region editor now opens in a proper, easier-to-read window instead of a cramped inline panel.
v1.0.804
9/13/2026 at 4:18 AM
Creature Lab: fusion fish now glow lime green, and mixing one in gives a shot at a double-power-slot result -- plus a higher Laboratory level now speeds up and boosts the odds of every fusion. Also fixed the Promo Blimp: clicking it now opens the ad link, and its far side no longer shows the banner backwards.
v1.0.803
9/13/2026 at 3:47 AM
The Next Voyage Promo countdown now ticks live down to the second, its How To Play placement wraps neatly beside the text, and the Solo Quests page got its own Info panel with quest tips.
v1.0.802
9/13/2026 at 3:22 AM
Behind-the-scenes admin tooling improvement -- no player-facing changes.
v1.0.801
9/13/2026 at 3:12 AM
Admins can now reuse an already-hosted image for the Next Voyage Promo instead of always uploading a fresh copy.
v1.0.800
9/13/2026 at 3:03 AM
Submariner now shows a real-time countdown to the next voyage right in the info drawer and at the top of How To Play, so you always know when boarding begins.
v1.0.799
9/13/2026 at 2:44 AM
Fixed some hard-to-read white input fields on an internal admin page.
