Submariner — Sea Life

A stubby codlet powdered with black speckles, the Coal Dust Codlet feeds around old fuel bunkers and sediment falls. Its pale belly stays oddly clean, which makes it easier for cooks to defend serving it. The flavor is mild until the aftertaste, when the sea remembers the coal.
