Submariner — Sea Life

The Ironback Leviathan is less a fish than a moving wall of old armor, its plated spine carrying scars from anchors, depth mines, and failed hunts. It glides below submarines in a patient spiral, letting its mass and pressure wake do the work before it ever opens its mouth. Crews know the Leviathan by the slow metallic groan that rolls through the hull when it passes underneath. Most attacks begin with a broadside scrape from its iron-hard back plates, stripping paint, loosening rivets, and turning minor hull damage into a long voyage problem. Old Submariner hands say the Ironback does not hate ships. It treats them like reef stone: something to rub against, crack open, and eventually wear down.
