Submariner — Sea Life

The Blackplate Ram Squid wears a fused shield of basalt growth across its mantle and uses it like a siege prow. It strikes once, vanishes into the silt, then returns from a new angle before the crew can agree where the impact came from. Old submariners mark its territory by the dented wreckage bent inward from every side.
