v1.0.578
New: each Submariner class (Military, Science, Navigation, Historian, Cook) now has its own basic how-to page -- what it does, its main commands, how to level it up, and how to slot a matching fish -- without spoiling the deeper details. Find them by clicking a class name on the main How To Play page, or with !sub howtoplay <class> in chat.
v1.0.577
Behind-the-scenes fix sweep: several Submariner timers were quietly running about 7 hours off due to a server/database clock mismatch. This mainly affected things staying "stuck" longer than they should -- !sub timeout was expiring almost instantly instead of lasting, buildings could look done right away, and a few cooldowns and sale windows were timed wrong. All of it should now behave as originally intended.
v1.0.576
New: !sub steer left and !sub steer right let the crew explore for more nodes without changing depth, plus a new Depth Map page (Voyage Log -> Depth Map) showing everything uncovered so far and where the sub currently is. Also fixed a bug where several voyage-action cooldowns (steer, fish, hunt, and more) were staying locked way longer than they should have, and fixed the admin hull-repair panel not reflecting manual hull adjustments.
v1.0.575
New: Auto Dock Repair. The sub now heals itself over time while docked between voyages, and you can visit the Buildings page to see the sub itself and join the repair crew to speed things up -- each helper cuts the repair time by 5%, and you'll earn Navigation XP for every hour you pitch in. Building and repairing are one or the other, not both at once.
v1.0.574
Trivia results, split in two: !trivia me shows your own last answer, and !trivia results now shows a recap of the last round for everyone (correct answer + top winners). Also gave the trivia question its own green-highlighted line in chat and on the website so it's easier to spot.
v1.0.573
Trivia tweaks: the broadcaster can now spawn a new round any time without waiting on the 15-minute cooldown, and checking your own results is now a free !trivia results command instead of !spr trivia results.
Play Trivia →
v1.0.572
Real fix this time: !spr entryvid [name] now actually finds and plays existing entry videos — it was checking the wrong data the whole time and never matched anyone.
v1.0.571
Fixed a confusing message on !spr entryvid — it no longer tells you to order one when you may have already ordered one.
v1.0.570
Trivia answers are now a fair guess for everyone: no more instant right/wrong reply that could tip off the answer by elimination. Results post automatically when the round ends (top 5 winners), or check your own outcome any time with !spr trivia results.
Play Trivia →
v1.0.569
Trivia is now faster to play: no more !spr answer command — just type the number (1-5) by itself in chat to answer.
Play Trivia →
v1.0.568
Fixed a timing bug in the brand-new Trivia game that could leave rounds stuck open and the spawn cooldown jammed. Caught in testing before any real games were affected.
Play Trivia →
v1.0.567
New: !spr trivia — spawn an AI-generated trivia question in chat with a real Sawpoints prize pool. Answer fast with !spr answer <1-5> — the prize shrinks the longer nobody gets it right, and the fastest correct answers split the pot. Stats and leaderboards at /games/trivia.

v1.0.566
Military gets two new commands: !sub weaponsmith and !sub armorsmith strip sunken shipwrecks for parts (watch out for guard creatures). Bank enough parts and assemble a real weapon or armor upgrade for the rest of the voyage.
How To Play →
v1.0.565
Fixed a boss-fight payout bug where only one crew member ended up with the SP even when several people landed hits. Also new: the player with the killing blow now banks a 40% bonus and keeps the trophy, while everyone else who dealt damage splits the rest.
How To Play →
v1.0.564
New Navigation minigame: !sub mining pulls ore, silver, gold, and diamond from the sea floor (watch out for creatures guarding the good stuff), !sub survey scouts ahead, and !sub cashin trades your minerals for SP whenever you want.

v1.0.563
A rare fish/item that doesn't sell now gets one more 7-day shot on the Auction House before it disappears — watch for the 'Last Chance' tag. Legendary items only ever get one listing, ever.
Visit the Auction House →
v1.0.559
Auction House update: rare and legendary fish now carry a reserve price — if bidding doesn't clear it, the lot goes unsold and your SP is refunded. Legendary items can only be won by bid, no more skip-the-line buyout. Buy It Now prices are up across the board.
Visit the Auction House →
v1.0.558
Auction House fish cards now show which class they belong to (Military, Science, Navigation, Historian, Cook), so you know how to slot them the moment you win.
Visit the Auction House →
v1.0.557
Quick fix: the instant-feed update from the last push wasn't actually feeding your fish. Feeding is back to working correctly, still without the page reload.
Visit the Aquarium →
v1.0.556
The Auction House now tucks your bid history away by default (with paging so it never turns into a huge scroll), and feeding a fish in the Aquarium updates instantly without reloading the page.
Visit the Auction House →
v1.0.555
Fixed a bug hiding rare fish from the Auction House — 8 rare catches from the last voyage were sitting there the whole time with nobody able to bid. They now show up with a fresh 7-day bidding window.

v1.0.554
Refreshed the video at the top of the homepage with a new venue promo clip.

v1.0.553
Behind-the-scenes follow-up to the !spr gift fix -- SawBot can now show exactly how much regular SP and Bonus SP a gift actually split into.
v1.0.552
!spr gift is back to splitting proportionally between your regular SP and Bonus SP based on your own balance -- matching how it's always been described on our Terms of Service and Pay It Forward page.

v1.0.550
New Fishcade arcade game: Fishman, a Pac-Man-style maze chomper! Guide one of your own Aquarium fish through the reef, gobbling pellets while dodging four other fish from your own tank. Grab a glowing power pellet to turn them blue and eat them back for bonus points. Unlocks at Fishcade level 3, then a one-time 2,222 SP purchase from the Store -- free to play after that, with a daily XP bonus and a leaderboard.
Play Fishcade →
v1.0.551
The Playable Games count at the top of this page now counts everything you can actually play — the main lineup, every Fishcade minigame, and the Playtester Area builds.
Browse all games →
v1.0.549
The Fishcade hub now shows a level-progress meter (0-10) for your Fishcade building, with a hashmark for every level and a flag marking the level-10 goal.
View Fishcade →
v1.0.548
New minigame: Fish Throw! Slingshot one of your fish across a frozen river at the Fishcade (unlocks at Fishcade level 2) -- pull back and time your release for the perfect arc, then watch it bounce or skid to a stop. 5 throws per round, climb the levels, and chase the leaderboard.
Play Fish Throw →
v1.0.547
Fixed a bug where approving a player's fish/creature submission in the admin panel could leave the new catalog entry without its picture, even though the player had submitted one. The Gilded Rind-Guard now shows its art correctly, and this can't happen again going forward.
v1.0.543
Cleaned up the Version History page: the header now matches the rest of the site, and the "More News" link sits right next to the title instead of on its own line.
Check it out →
v1.0.542
Small follow-up fix: the boss-fight treasure reward settings now show up right next to the other boss-fight options in the admin tools, instead of being tucked away somewhere unrelated. No player-facing change.
v1.0.541
Behind-the-scenes: the admin tools for Submariner voyages got a bit more flexible -- a voyage's special boss encounter can now be set up (or changed) even after the voyage has already started, instead of only at the very beginning. No player-facing change.
v1.0.540
Two Submariner tweaks: !sub bake can now fail (more likely at low Cook rank, with a longer cooldown between tries) -- but a botched bake never destroys your fish, it just costs you a turn. Also, the first 10 crew to board a voyage before it departs now get a random bonus for that voyage based on their class -- better hit chance for Military, a navigation boost for Navigation, and better fish-catch rarity odds for Science.

v1.0.539
Fish Dock Casino's Slots are live! Two games unlock once your casino hits level 10: Classic Reels and Your Aquarium, which uses your own owned fish as the reel symbols. Also tidied up the Buildings/Store navigation -- the Casino link now only lives where it belongs, on the Buildings page.
Visit the Casino →
v1.0.538
Fish Dock Casino leveled up: a new Player Rewards Desk with a Fish Dock Casino Player's Card (color-coded tiers based on how much you've played) and free promo-SP comps earned just from playing, on monthly/quarterly/bi-annual/annual cycles. Space Keno also got a real mute button (music AND sound effects now), a session stats popup, and a full game history page.
Visit the Rewards Desk →
v1.0.537
Fixed the "Pages On The Site" number on this page -- it now always matches the real count on our sitemap. Also updated the Fish Dock Casino rules text to be clearer about what Bonus SawPoints can and can't be used for.

v1.0.536
Behind-the-scenes maintenance -- nothing changed for you.
v1.0.535
Fixed a small display bug on this What's New page -- the big numbers in the stats up top (like song and page counts) were showing an underline they weren't supposed to have.
v1.0.534
Fixed the homepage's Music and Videos section so it always shows our actual latest release, not something still on the way. If something new is coming up, you'll now see a 'Next release' note with the date instead.

v1.0.533
Behind-the-scenes maintenance — nothing changed for you.
v1.0.532
Grouped the stats on this page more sensibly (all the update counts together, all the content counts together), made every link clearly underlined so it's obvious what's clickable, and fixed every entry oddly showing '12:00 AM' as its time.
v1.0.531
Tightened up this page's layout — the stats now sit in a neat grid right at the top instead of way down at the bottom, and we added a quick link over to our News page.
Read The News →
v1.0.530
This page got even better: the update list now comes first, each entry shows exactly when it went live, and we added a brand-new Sitemap page linking to everything on the site, organized to match the menu at the top.

v1.0.528
Behind-the-scenes maintenance — nothing changed for you.
v1.0.527
This changelog page now also shows how many updates have shipped this month and this year, right alongside the running total.
v1.0.526
Fixed the footer's version number, which had gone nearly invisible against the dark background on every page. Also launched this page — a friendlier, jargon-free history of everything that's shipped over time.
v1.0.509
Space Keno, Numblast Purgatory, Mood Typer, Lawnmower Nightmare, and PGM Sea Hunter have all moved into the Playtester Area, where you can try them using a separate practice currency instead of real SawPoints.

v1.0.510
Big upgrade to the Playtester Area: easier-to-read pages, screenshots on games still in development, and VIP members now get instant automatic access — everyone else can request it with one click.

v1.0.511
Cleaned up the wording on the VIP page and checkout to be more accurate about what Early Access and track downloads actually include.
